20 Minutes In The Dark

20 Minutes in The Dark

Happening in two places simultaneously 20 Minutes in the Dark presents to the audience a body that is not there, an invisible body suggested by memory and fantasy that questions what we want from it - from its image and its flesh.
This piece asks how we imagine each other whilst in close proximity, without seeing, touching or talking. It asks the audience to consider their own presence, their desires and expectations. It is a piece where the body simultaneously inhabits fiction and reality.

20 Minutes in The Dark was first performed at the 2013 Performance Philosophy Conference and  later at the Laban theatre as part of the final MA programmes.
