Past Performances

Andrea's work has been concerned with connecting emotion and narrative found in theatre to the abstract nature of movement in dance. Much of this work developed from experimenting with mixing theatre and dance making techniques. Some performances include:

Salome

A solo piece inspired by the character and text of Salome by Oscar Wilde. The piece was created by translating the text work techniques used in theatre into physical actions. Salome was first performed at Oxford House in 2007. Other performances include Chisenhale Dance Space (London), and Resolution! (Robin Howard Dance Theatre, The Place, London).

Bohor

A collaboration with Dancer Marc Krause, Bohor was developed using physical memories to tell a story about love.

Bohor was performed at Resolution! (Robin Howard Dance Theatre, The Place, London) in 2008
